Membership Terms & Conditions

These are not to scare you away from our parks, however like with most things there are elements of danger involved and it's important that you know about these. If there's anything you're unsure about, anything at all, then don't hesitate to contact us.
General Terms & Conditions

Miscellaneous Terms


  1. You confirm that you have signed an electronic waiver form prior to attending any of UKCF Parks. In the event whereby, for some reason this has not been possible to reinforce, you hereby acknowledge and confirm that by booking any memberships or sessions under ‘UKCF Academy’, you agree to the terms and conditions below.
  2. In order to participate in our activities including but not limited to; parkour, acrobatics, aerial, trampolining, climbing, parkour park access, use of the foam pit, café access and any other amusement activities (collectively hereinafter called the “Activities”) organised by UKCF Academy, its sister companies, owners, directors, principals, volunteers, participants, employees, independent contractors, insurers, facility operators and any other persons and entities acting in any capacity on its behalf (collectively “UKCF Academy”), you agree as follows:
  3. You are: (a) aged 18 years or above and wish to participate in the Activities; (b) the parent/legal guardian of the participants listed below who are under the age of 18 (“Participants”) and you grant permission for the Participants to participate in the Activities; or (c) not the Participant’s parent/legal guardian, but you can confirm that you are aged 18 years or above and declare that you have the authority from their parents/legal guardians to sign this waiver form.
  4. You agree that you are responsible for the Participants and that you will, and will ensure that the Participates will, comply with the Rules of Membership which are displayed prominently in the park and relate to opening hours, use of facilities and your conduct as well as carry out the Activities in accordance with the Park Rules and any specific safety rules and instructions that we have received from UKCF Academy before and during undertaking the Activities, including the rules posted in the facility and on UKCF Academy's website (https://www.ukcfacademy.co.uk). We may make reasonable changes to these Rules at any time provided that we give you advance notice of the change.
  5. You will, and shall ensure that the Participants will wear any safety equipment provided by UKCF Academy in accordance with its safety instructions and that you and the Participants will follow the directives of UKCF Academy’s personnel at all times.
  6. To the best of your knowledge and belief you are and the Participants are in good health and not knowingly incapable of engaging in any of, but not limited to the given activities and that such activities would not be detrimental to the participants health, safety, comfort, well being or physical condition as well as others health and safety. Further, that you will advise us immediately should your circumstances change.
  7. ​You acknowledge that UKCF Academy did not provide you or any of the Participants medical advice relating to your or their physical condition and ability to take part in any Activities.
  8. You acknowledge that participation in the Activities may be physically demanding and that there are risks of injury, including but not limited to serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis and loss of life, to me or the Participants. You acknowledge, that if you or any of the Participants suffer an accident or any loss or damage whilst participating in an Activity or whilst at the UKCF Academy facility then UKCF Academy will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or injury arising from or in connection with such accident, loss or damage (except in respect of death or personal injury caused by UKCF Academy’s negligence) and you waive all and any claims against UKCF Academy in this regard both for yourself and on behalf of the Participants.  
  9. You hereby agree to indemnify UKCF Academy against all claims made by any other person against UKCF Academy in respect of any injury, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your failure or the failure of the Participant to comply with UKCF Academy's terms and conditions, the Park Rules or to comply with the safety instructions and/or directions of UKCF Academy, its management or staff.
  10. By entering a UKCF Academy facility and participating in any Activities, you hereby grant UKCF Academy the irrevocable right and permission to photograph and/or record you and/or the Participants in connection with UKCF Academy and to use any photographs and/or recordings for any purposes, including advertising and promotional purposes. You, on behalf of yourself and each Participant, waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the photographs and/or recordings and acknowledge and agree that the rights granted to this release are without compensation of any kind. You agree that, if you do not want UKCF Academy to have any of the permissions set out in this paragraph, you will confirm this [in writing] to one of UKCF Academy’s personnel prior to taking part in any Activity pursuant to your booking.
  11. You confirm that neither you nor any of the Participants is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
  12. In addition to the above you understand that if we take no action or let you off any breach of this agreement or give you extra time to pay or comply, it will not stop us enforcing the terms of this agreement strictly at a future date.
  13. There may be occasions where we have to close all, or part of, the park of which you are a member. We will do our best to let you know of such closures in advance of them taking place, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. We will use all commercially reasonable endeavours to ensure that such closures are outside of peak visiting hours and are kept to a minimum, in both duration and frequency. You will not be entitled to a refund of part of, or all of, your membership fees in such circumstances.
  14. We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under these terms that is caused by any event that is outside of our reasonable control.
  15. This agreement is governed by English Law.
  16. We may terminate this agreement with immediate effect on notifying you if you are in breach of the Parks Rules.

Information About Us

  1. We are a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 11084080 and Our registered office is at 130 Old Street, London, EC1V 9BD.

  3. If you wish to contact us in writing, or if any clause in these terms requires you to give us notice in writing you can send this to us by e-mail to UKCF International, T/A UKCF Academy at info@ukcfacademy.co.uk We will confirm receipt of this by contacting you by email.

Your Personal Information

  1. We will use the personal information you provide to us to:
  2. (a) provide your membership services;
    (b) process your membership payment; and
    (c) inform you about relevant products or services from UKCF, or carefully selected third parties.  You may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us.
  3. We will not give your personal data to any third party and you will only receive communications directly from UKCF.

Promotion Terms

  1. UKCF International Ltd trading as UKCF Academy, UKCF Stoke and UKCF Oxford reserves the right to end any promotion without warning at any time.
  2. Any prizes offered by UKCF must be claimed within 21 Days of announcement of the winners. UKCF have 45 days to issue any prize.
  3. All Park challenges are subject to fair play which is managed in club. Any challenge must be signed off by a UKCF team member.​

Recurring Card Charged Membership Terms & Conditions

Principal Terms


  1. This agreement commences once you have indicated your acceptance in the Declaration section of the web sign up process.
  2. In some locations you can choose to delay the start date of your membership by up to 1 month. If you want to bring this date forward, please contact us on 0330 223 3995 or at info@ukcfacademy.co.uk and we will be more than happy to discuss your options. Please do note, however, that the terms in the Money Back Guarantee section of these terms may then apply in that situation.
  3. This agreement will become binding on you and us when we contact you to confirm your membership application has been accepted, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us.
  4. You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable for the Type of Membership chosen.
  5. You cannot transfer this agreement to anyone else.

Fees & Charges

  1. The Joining Fee (if one is payable) and first month's membership fees are collected from you by us either by Debit / Credit card at time of purchase, or by the first of recurring monthly charges to your card approximately 5 days from your membership application date. These fees are not refundable under any circumstances with the exception of the Money Back Guarantee detailed below. Joining fees are applied to cover the initial administration costs associated with setting up a new membership and direct debit agreement and entitle the member to a park introduction session, bookable online.
  2. If you are looking to upgrade your membership there maybe an admin fee charged at the point at which you upgrade.
  3. Your second recurring card charge for monthly membership fees only will be collected one month after you joined, unless you joined prior to your park opening in which case they will be collected one month after the park opened. Subsequent recurring card charges for monthly membership fees will be collected monthly thereafter. Each payment made is not refundable under any circumstances.
  4. If any recurring charge is returned unpaid or if any other form of payment is not honoured for whatever reason, you shall pay us on demand an administration fee of £20. If, despite us having notified you of a missed payment, further payments are missed, we reserve the right to, at our sole election, either suspend or terminate your membership, upon having given you written notice of our intention to do so. We may present an option to reduce the administration fee if the outstanding amount is paid online within 7 days of becoming due.
  5. You agree to advise us immediately of any change to the Members Details provided.
  6. A £5.99 monthly charge is applied if you freeze your membership. Your membership can be on freeze for a maximum of 3 months after which your membership will automatically be un-frozen and will revert back to your monthly rate. Freeze only applies to monthly memberships and will start from your payment date.

Prices

  1. From time to time we may need to increase the price of membership. We will give you at least 1 full months' notice of any incoming price increase and will make it very clear when the price increase will take effect and how much your membership will cost after the increase. During this period you will have your usual right to terminate your membership in accordance with the membership terms and conditions and rules. If you do not terminate the membership by the date given to you in the notice then the price of your membership will be increased in accordance with our notice.
  2. Price drops are valid at the park highlighted only. The price given is the lowest price available and may apply to off peak or standard monthly memberships – please see individual club page for more details.

Termination

  1. You may terminate your membership at any point by cancelling your recurring charges with us by contacting us directly allowing 3 to 4 working days for this action. Please call us for options available to you or for any further information.
  2. In the above circumstances your membership will remain in force until the day before your next payment is due, at which point it will automatically terminate. If you have purchased a Fixed Term you will be entitled to 50% of the pro-rotated amount minus the joining fee as refund for any unused membership.

Money Back Guarantee

  1. As per the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you are entitled to cancel your membership and receive a full refund of any fees paid within 14 days of completing your membership application form. However, as per regulation 36 of Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you select to commence your membership immediately, or you ask us to start your membership early, you agree that if you subsequently cancel your membership within the 14 day period, you will be refunded any monies paid, less an amount for the membership you have already used. As an example of how this works, if your membership fee is £30 per month and you cancel your membership after 10 days of it commencing (having asked us to start it immediately) we shall refund you £20, keeping £10, which represents the membership you had used up to the point of cancellation.
 
Membership Abuse Policy


  1. Your access/barcodes can only be used by you, solely for your use, as your membership is personal to you and only covers your use of a park. You are responsible for keeping your access/entry codes secure and confidential at all times. The access/entry code remains our property at all times (unless agreed otherwise and evidenced in writing).
  2. Use of Access/barcodes is monitored: In the interests of the safety and security of all our members, use of entry codes and access is monitored and individuals using the above may be asked to provide proof of identification.
  3. What we will do if we think your Access Barcode / Membership has been misused: Should we believe that your access/barcode has been used by another individual or individuals we may (in our discretion) decide to conduct an investigation. If we do so we will: (a) inform you, via email, that we believe your membership has been used by another individual or individuals and ask you to provide us with reasonable assistance to investigate the matter; and (b) following our investigation we will contact you, via email, to inform you of our findings and our proposed course of action, which may include one or more of the steps set out in paragraph 4 below.
  4. Our Right to make additional charges and/or cancel your membership: If you unreasonably refuse to cooperate with our investigation, or following our investigation we have reasonable grounds to believe that your membership was used, with or without your knowledge and/or consent, by another individual or individuals, depending on the particular circumstances of each case, we reserve the right to take one or both of the following steps, which are in addition to any other legal rights that we may have : (a) to apply a penalty charge to your membership fees (and increase your direct debit payment(s) accordingly).  The penalty charge will be calculated as being equal to the daily membership charge (that applied at the time of use) for each occasion on which your membership was used by that individual/those individuals; and/or (b) in the event of serious misuse of your membership, for example, your membership has been used on repeated occasions and/or by more than one individual, to notify you, via email, that we are cancelling your membership with immediate effect, and no refunds will be given.
  5. Your responsibility for another’s conduct: If we have reasonable grounds for believing that you knowingly provided your membership to another individual or individuals, or allowed unauthorised entry following your entry to the park (Known as tailgating) in addition to our rights referred to in paragraph 4 above, we may hold you responsible for the conduct of the individual(s) while on our park premises, and liable for any loss we suffer as a consequence of that conduct. 

Access Codes/Devices: the device, key-fob, or any other relevant security hardware device with built-in authentication equipment, issued or otherwise provided to you by us to enable you to securely access the relevant park in accordance with the terms of your membership. Only one device can be registered to an account at any time, if you lose or misplace the device you need to contact member services to remove the device immediately.

Day Passes and Class Packs Terms & Conditions

Principal Terms


  1. This daily membership / class package commences once you have indicated your acceptance in the Declaration section of this web sign up process.
  2. Your membership will be activated on the date you specified.
  3. You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable for the Type of Membership chosen.
  4. You cannot transfer this daily membership and class package to anyone else nor transfer the day pass to another date.
  5. You must use up your credits included in your class package within the specified period mentioned at time of purchase. Any unused credits will not be refundable.

Fees and Charges

  1. You shall be entitled to cancel your daily passes / class package the earlier of: (1) 14 days after the date of purchase; or (2) the day before the date on which you selected your daily membership or class package to activate. If you cancel during this period you will receive a full refund. After this period the daily passes / class packages fee is not refundable.

Our Right to make additional charges and/or cancel your membership: If you unreasonably refuse to cooperate with our investigation, or following our investigation we have reasonable grounds to believe that your membership was used, with or without your knowledge and/or consent, by another individual or individuals, depending on the particular circumstances of each case, we reserve the right to take one or both of the following steps, which are in addition to any other legal rights that we may have : (a) to apply a penalty charge to your membership fees (and increase your direct debit payment(s) accordingly).  The penalty charge will be calculated as being equal to the daily membership charge (that applied at the time of use) for each occasion on which your membership was used by that individual/those individuals; and/or (b) in the event of serious misuse of your membership, for example, your membership has been used on repeated occasions and/or by more than one individual, to notify you, via email, that we are cancelling your membership with immediate effect, and no refunds will be given.
  5. Your responsibility for another’s conduct: If we have reasonable grounds for believing that you knowingly provided your membership to another individual or individuals, or allowed unauthorised entry following your entry to the park (Known as tailgating) in addition to our rights referred to in paragraph 4 above, we may hold you responsible for the conduct of the individual(s) while on our park premises, and liable for any loss we suffer as a consequence of that conduct. 

Access Codes/Devices: the device, key-fob, or any other relevant security hardware device with built-in authentication equipment, issued or otherwise provided to you by us to enable you to securely access the relevant park in accordance with the terms of your membership. Only one device can be registered to an account at any time, if you lose or misplace the device you need to contact member services to remove the device immediately.

Day Passes and Class Packs Terms & Conditions

Principal Terms


  1. This daily membership / class package commences once you have indicated your acceptance in the Declaration section of this web sign up process.
  2. Your membership will be activated on the date you specified.
  3. You will be entitled to all the rights and privileges exercisable for the Type of Membership chosen.
  4. You cannot transfer this daily membership and class package to anyone else nor transfer the day pass to another date.
  5. You must use up your credits included in your class package within the specified period mentioned at time of purchase. Any unused credits will not be refundable.

Fees and Charges

  1. You shall be entitled to cancel your daily passes / class package the earlier of: (1) 14 days after the date of purchase; or (2) the day before the date on which you selected your daily membership or class package to activate. If you cancel during this period you will receive a full refund. After this period the daily passes / class packages fee is not refundable.
